Katy Coakley is a Digital Media and Storytelling graduate student at Loyola University Chicago. Passionate about traveling across the Midwest, her love for the outdoors influenced her storytelling by capturing the beauty of nature preserves. From the Anderson Japanese Gardens to Lake Geneva to Fort Sheridan, Katy’s goal was not only for herself to connect to nature, but also for her audiences. Aside from photography, Katy hopes to become a documentary filmmaker.
